Every two weeks, we present for discussion, topical issues on teaching and learning in higher education in Africa. The consensus of the views are collated and posted on this page. As much as possible, the topics in the modules of the Guide will be basis for generating the discussion themes.
| Current Discussion Topic/Theme | Gender equity is at
the heart of the educational delivery process. The UNESCO World
Conference on Higher Education emphasises this concept in its
Framework for Action. Discuss the strategies that have been found to
be potent in your institution or country for promoting gender equity
in access, participation and completion at the higher education level.
